Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlanta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Overall, I had a good experience at Bobby Jones, but it didn’t quite live up to the expectations I had. Course Conditions: The course itself is outstanding. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape, and it’s hard to find much to criticize about the playing conditions. Pace of Play: This was the biggest downside. Our 9-hole round took about 2.5 hours. The starter explained that earlier groups had slowed things down, but a local we were paired with said that’s fairly common, especially on weekends. We played on a weekday, so it was a bit disappointing. Overall Experience: One thing that stood out was that maintenance vehicles and the beverage cart continued through the course while groups were preparing to hit. We often had to wait for them to pass, and they didn’t seem to acknowledge players getting ready to hit. It wasn’t a huge issue, just something I wasn’t accustomed to. Staff: The staff wasn’t unfriendly, but they also weren’t particularly welcoming. They got us checked in, pointed us toward the carts and driving range, and that was about the extent of the interaction. Overall, I’d definitely play Bobby Jones again because the course itself is excellent. If the pace

Really really nice golf course. Fairways are perfect, greens are pristine. Everything you could want in a golf course. The staff. Not so much. We shopped around the club house and bought some items and they looked at us like we weren’t supposed to be there. Rented clubs and the ladies clubs were half mens and they means clubs were only regular shafts. No, I’m sorry maybe a discount. No nothing, just “well, sorry that’s all we’ve got.” Great course tho.

Bobby Jones is an immaculate golf course, not only by public standards, but by any standards. From the tee boxes, fairways, greens and facilities, it’s all pristine. You get what you pay for. My one gripe is they lack a starter a lot of the time and there are no rangers keeping up pace or playing. It’s typically not an issue but you can get the odd group that just doesn’t care and can be a real pain. Highly suggest playing here.

Wow. I showed up 7am hoping to sneak in with a group. Rance says let me check on something… He had a spot for me to play with an ambassador, Tim, and even got 6 holes with Orlando. What a great concept. It really made me feel welcomed in the best way. Thank you for making me feel special. Golf was solid. Hospitality amazing. A+ 5 stars “That’s how ya do it”.

Had a great experience at the course on Sunday during a lesson with Daniel Fowler. I went with two friends—two of us are pretty new to golf, and one has more experience—and Daniel did an awesome job working with all of us. He gave clear tips, kept things fun, and made sure everyone got individual attention. We hit the driving range afterward to put everything into practice and left feeling much more confident. If you’re looking for lessons and want someone who’s knowledgeable, encouraging, and easy to work with, definitely book with Daniel. We’re already looking forward to the next time.
